  • How do I retrieve my password?

    If you have lost or forgotten your password, you can reset your password by visiting

    You will be required to enter the email address that you used to sign up with with instructions on how to reset your password.

  • Is my information Safe?

    Careers24 will never share your personal information without your permission. As a candidate you can control your privacy levels, from having an open profile that all recruiters can view, to blocking certain recruiters from viewing your profile, to having recruiters contact you to ask for permission to seeing your profile.

    You can change your privacy settings in your account settings.

  • How do I manage my privacy?

    You can choose the level of privacy you would like to have on your profile. You can either have your profile visible to registered recruiters on the site, or if you choose you can have your personal details invisible. If you choose to have your details invisible, recruiters will have to ask your permission in order for them to view your profile. An email will be sent to you informing you that a recruiter is interested in viewing your profile. This is a good option if you are worried about your company viewing your profile.

  • What is a Job Alert

    A Job Alert is a convenient email notification service that informs you of new jobs based on criteria that you have chosen. You can choose to have alerts sent to you hourly, daily or weekly. You can also set up as many job alerts as you like.

  • Why am I asked for my race?

    This information is required in line with the Employment Equity Act. If positions are EE positions then only candidates matching the hiring company’s criteria will be matched against the position. According to the Labour Department the hierarchy for Employment Equity is Black, Coloured and then Indian - Females then Males.
